Straning is a small, idyllic village in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria. Well – just in the Weinviertel, you could say. The village and its vineyards lie at the foot of the Manhartsberg mountain ridge, close to the border with the Waldviertel forest district. This means we enjoy not only peace and tranquillity here, but also cool nights and spicy air. Which is why the wines from Straning are especially light-footed, aromatic and so refreshing.
